Purry Defense

Privacy Policy

Purry Defense (Android app com.purrydefense.game) · Effective date: 1 October 2026

In short. There is no sign-up, no chat and no in-app purchases. We never ask for your name, e-mail, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. Your progress stays on your device. Anonymous game statistics are sent to Google only if you say “Yes” in the privacy window. Ads are only videos you choose to watch for a bonus. We do not run our own servers and do not sell data.

1. Who we are

The game is published by BLUMENFIELD INTERNATIONAL - FZCO, DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the processing described here. Contact for any privacy question: support@blumenfield.co.

Location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files outside the appNoThe app does not request these permissions
Our own serversNoThe game’s own code sends nothing to us

The app requests the Android permissions “Internet” (for ads and statistics), “Vibrate” (game feedback) and the permissions that the Google advertising and analytics libraries add themselves (for example, access to the advertising ID and network state).

3. Data that stays on your device

To let you continue where you left off, the game saves on your device:

This data is stored in the app’s private storage and is not sent to us or anyone else. Only in pre-release test builds can a tester manually export the attempt log through the Android “Share” menu and choose where to send it; that button is not present in the public version of the game.

Device backup. The app allows Android’s standard backup. If you have backup turned on in your phone’s settings, Android may include this game data in your personal Google backup, so it can be restored when you reinstall the game or move to a new phone. That backup is stored by Google under your Google account and is controlled by your backup settings; we have no access to it.

4. The privacy window and your choice

On first launch the game asks one question: may we collect anonymous game statistics, and may ad videos be matched to your interests? The buttons “Yes, that’s fine” and “No, only what’s needed” are equally easy to choose. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy. In the EEA and the UK, Google’s own consent form for ads may also appear (see section 6); it can be reopened from the same menu.

5. Game statistics (Google Firebase Analytics) — only with your consent

Analytics is switched off in the app by default. If you answer “Yes”, the game sends short game events to Google Firebase Analytics:

Together with these events the Firebase software itself collects standard technical information: a random app-instance identifier (it changes if you reinstall the game or clear its data), device model, Android version, app version, language, approximate country or region derived from your IP address, and standard events such as first open, session start and engagement time. The game turns off collection of the advertising ID and the Android ID for analytics, and does not allow analytics data to be used for ad personalisation.

Why: to see which levels are too hard or too easy, where players give up, and to fix problems. Not used for: ads, profiling of individual players or selling data.

If you answer “No”, no statistics are sent, including events recorded before you answered. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Firebase data processing terms and the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Ads (Google AdMob) — only videos you choose to watch

The only ads in Purry Defense are optional “rewarded” videos: for example, after a lost level you may choose to watch a short video to get a second chance. There are no banners and no ads that start by themselves.

To load and show a video, and to count views and prevent fraud, Google AdMob receives from your device: the advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and information about the ad view (shown, finished, clicked). We ask Google only for ads suitable for a general audience (content rating “G”).

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device). How Google uses this data: How Google uses information from apps that use its services, Google advertising.

7. Legal bases

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies: statistics and personalised ads are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time; non-personalised ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention are based on our legitimate interest in offering the game for free (Art. 6(1)(f)). Data kept only on your device is needed to provide the game you asked for. We also process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other laws that apply to you.

8. Who receives data

Only Google (Firebase Analytics and AdMob), as described above. We do not sell or rent personal data and do not share it with other companies. We may disclose information if required by law. Google may process data in the United States and other countries; it uses safeguards recognised by law for such transfers (for example, standard contractual clauses).

9. How long data is kept

10. Children

Purry Defense has cartoon, non-violent content suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country) and is not part of Google Play’s programme for children’s apps. The game does not ask for age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Only general-audience ads are requested. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the game with statistics or personalised ads turned on, you can switch them off in Settings → Privacy, clear the app’s data, and contact us — we will help with any request. If we ever decide to target children, we will update the app and this policy first.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy, and withdraw consent at any time (Settings → Privacy) without affecting processing that took place before. Because the game has no accounts, we usually cannot link analytics or ad data to a particular person; tell us what you need and we will do our best, and answer within one month. You may also complain to a data protection authority in your country or in the United Arab Emirates.

How to delete data: Delete your data.

12. Security

Game data on the device is kept in the app’s private storage, protected by Android. Data sent by the Google libraries is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

13. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may keep technical access logs (such as IP address and time) to deliver and protect the site.

14. Changes

We will post any update on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects what you agreed to, the game will ask for your consent again.

Test builds

In pre-release test builds, game telemetry (records of level attempts and survey answers) is sent automatically to the developer’s own server. You can switch this off by declining analytics in the consent settings (Settings → Privacy).
